You know how everyone tells you that you’ll laugh about it later? Well, not always. Even when the situation was objectively kind of hilarious. You know how funny it is when someone is holding onto the dock and their boat is pulled away and the person holding on gets dragged overboard? Hilarious – right? Not…

You know, sometimes (not often, God (TIDBI) knows, but sometimes) there’s nothing going on to WTF about.  So when there is nothing particularly WTF-y going on, I thought I would share some of the things that I tend to say (over and over again, because let’s face it, when you find a saying that works…

Seems we’ve been dumping shows from our regular schedule lately.  Bye-bye Star Girl – too much teenage angst and the same plot over and over (Adult:  Don’t do that Star Girl.  SG: But I have to.  Adult: Well, don’t.  SG: (Later) What could go wrong? I’m going to do it!)  Bye-bye Batwoman.  Too much 20-30…

I had an appointment with my psychologist today. It went well.  It went well because I am over my latest bout of depression.  She has never seen me not depressed.  Paint my psychologist surprised. She had no idea this is the person I really am. Today, I was my usual (fucking delightful) self.  I did…

Here’s a tip – hot flashes and thermal garments do NOT play well together. This is the voice of experience. Fall has arrived in Northern California.  Often October is one of the hottest months of the year in California (due to the Santa Ana winds) – but not so much this year.  For a couple…

Netflix has been catching some backlash over the casting of the role of Stagecoach Mary in it’s film The Harder They Fall. Netflix is accused of colorism in its casting because the woman portraying Mary is much lighter-skinned than the real Mary. Oddly enough, almost nobody is mentioning the fact that the real Stagecoach Mary…
