I recently finished a run in an all-female version of 1776 (the first time the all-female version has been staged and not done as simply a few-shows-fundraiser), playing Stephen Hopkins, aka Old Grape ‘n Guts. I chose to be in the “kids” dressing room (under 30) even though I am well past that age. It was a blast. After listening to my thoughts, ramblings, remembrances, and just out-and-out bitch and rants, the kids said they would read a blog about those things. So here I am. Old and fat and ready to share the stuff I sit and think about.
