WTF happened to this show?  I know it’s hard to find employees these days, but really?  These were the writers that they could get?  The acting is mostly fine but the writing. Dear God (TIDBI).  And did they just ditch the legal consultants?  After so many years working in law offices, I have a rudimentary…

That’s the saying – The more things change the more they stay the same.  Right? So here I am, once again, with the same ol’ same ol’ “back” pain.  Just like last year. Except, just like last year, it’s not really my back – it’s more the right side at and above the waist; which…

The first WTF is I didn’t post for Theater Tuesday.  WTF? The fuck was I just couldn’t deal with it. Why (you might well ask)? Because a couple of weeks ago I had my first mammogram since having surgery and radiation treatment for breast cancer. And 2 days after the mammogram I got a call…

I am such a bad procrastinator. Wait, that’s a lie. I’m actually an excellent procrastinator. I am a professional level procrastinator. One problem is I got spoiled when living in Los Angeles, and everything was open 24/7.  You could do your grocery shopping any time you liked – or didn’t like, but was convenient to…

I have bitched (I mean blogged – okay, I mean bitched) about Clearblue Pregnancy Test TV ads before.  I find it aggravating to think of two people who cannot, between them, figure out how to read a regular pregnancy test, producing children together.  But this new one just makes me laugh. We see a lovely…

Bake! Yes, I know this is a day late. Get over it. I intend to do WTF Wednesday tomorrow. Anyhow. I have some stuff going on right now that has me stressed almost to the breaking point (sorry to vague-blog, but I’ll have more to say in a couple of weeks). I mean, I can’t…

Light the corners of my mind, misty, water colored mem’ries of the way I was. I had my first mammogram since my little adventure with breast cancer. And it totally freaked me out.  I was in tears days beforehand. Usually when I get a mammogram, I do my best to be entertaining for the technician,…

So I started this week bemoaning the allergy attack that had snot running down my face. No sooner does that ease up, but then my digestive system says, “What about me?  I want some attention! LOTS of attention.” So basically two days spent non-stop on the crapper later, constant threatening noises emenating from my abdomen,…

OMG.  I (finally) got through all three seasons of Manifest.  And yes, I will be watching Season 4 when Netflix offers it.  I have high hopes that Netflix will bring back the same cast but hire new, and much better, writers, because Season 3 must have been written on toilet paper.  It was soooooooo bad. …

Yup.  Spring is in the air in Northern California – and the snot is running down my face. Ugh. Allergies. Of course, first the cold-like symptoms of allergies scare you to death because you (or at least I) immediately think it’s Covid. But as I’ve said before, you don’t get Covid in just one nostril. …
