WTF happened to this show?
I know it’s hard to find employees these days, but really? These were the writers that they could get?
The acting is mostly fine but the writing. Dear God (TIDBI).
And did they just ditch the legal consultants?
After so many years working in law offices, I have a rudimentary grasp of how the law works – how it works in reality and how it is supposed to work – and I used to be able to watch Law and Order without too many major complaints.
Now – it’s just ridiculous.
We DVR it and I keep making Bill stop it so I can rage about what legal misstep is being made.
Come on y’all. If you can’t afford a good legal advisor for the show, hire an old legal secretary. I know a fat old lady legal secretary/paralegal/word processor who would be more than happy to point out the most glaring gaffs before they end up onscreen.

What a relief! Thought it was just me when I watched the first 2 episodes & wondered if I’d done a Rip van Winkle. My late -& very closest friend- had a small law practice & I did a lot of research for him. Always
thought “L&O” (watched by MANY cops & lawyers) was THE most accurate show of its kind on the air. Oops.
