I keep hearing celebrities say, “I never watch myself in a movie/on TV.” Why the fuck not? Are you not interested in learning how you look when you perform? Are you not interested in finding out that maybe you could be doing something different that would work better? Are you not interested in hearing and…
Well, here we go. Friday, I applied for Social Security. Holy fuck. How did this happen? I remember when I figured I should die at 40 because by then I would have lived all the life I could stand to live. Ha. And here I am in all my Fat OLD Lady glory. Don’t get…
One of the things I love about drag, in general, and RuPaul’s Drag Race in particular, are the fat drag queens. They are everything – they can be hilarious, they can be gorgeous, they can be whatever they can imagine. And they always celebrate themselves. We should all take a page from their book –…

Maybe. Maybe not. There are two (small) studies that claim it is. High Prevalence of Obesity in severe acute respiratory syndrome etc. Obesity in patients younger than 60, etc. These studies have been scrutinized and evaluated by people in the fat community who are a lot fucking smarter than I am. And those people believe…
I am pretty good at crochet. I am so-so with knitting. I can knit, but it takes a lot of concentration. I find knitting requires a level of meticulousness that is not relaxing enough to enjoy. Here’s my rule of thumb – If you make a mistake knitting, you have a hole in your project.…
Okay. I understand why, to do a capture of a video on my computer screen, it takes as long as the video. Got it. Why then does it only take about 3 minutes for Movavi to save that video into a file on my computer? And it takes Movavi less than 3 minutes to load…
