I know, I know. It is becoming my habit to do my Fat Friday post on Sundays – and if it weren’t for the allure of alliteration (see what I did there?) I would change the name. Anyhow … I knew, even without Google translate’s help, that I not only loved the art work of…
Growing up, I always wanted to sleep with the windows open. I loved the fresh air. I especially loved it when it was storming outside. I loved snuggling under the covers in a cold bedroom. And I hated hot humid nights. I have always had trouble falling asleep in a hot bedroom. If not for…
I’ve been on the hormone suppressant Anastrozole for well over a month now. It is the drug that just keeps on giving – giving many and varied side effects, that is. I am thrilled to say that none of the side effects are debilitating; and I am so grateful for that. No, these side effects…
Between my sophomore and junior years of high school, I attended CSEP (Caseville Summer Enrichment Program). My Dad was living in Pigeon, Michigan (yes, that is the real name of the town) which was not far from Caseville and he offered to pay for me to go to CSEP (and spend the summer with him…

On the other hand, all of the basements in our houses…

One of their regular segments was “Inappropriate Toys” which featured pictures of toys from around the world, many of which were clearly inappropriate for anyone much less children. Obviously, I loved this segment. But I also wondered, where do people find…
You know how they say you can find anything on the internet? Well, they LIED. What you cannot find are the lyrics to “Tanz Mit Mir” from the Broadway Musical Carnival by Bob Merrill. Hell, Wikipedia doesn’t even list the song as being part of the show! Rude. I know this particular number was in…
This morning I had the weirdest dream (and for me that’s saying something, given how weird my waking life can be my dream world has a lot of competition). Anyhow, I was at a school, in the theater department – which was really just a cafeteria with a stage; and the cast of the show…
