A very looooooooooooooong time in the making, I FINALLY finished my latest Dikke Dame (Dutch for fat lady) Doll. 

Alice from Alice in Wonderland. 

Her hair is ribbon. 

The rest is all amiguru crochet with size 10 cotton thread.  I did not crochet a white rabbit for her – I like the little flocked bunny and crocheting one just makes me tired to think about. 

I did, however, make the pinafore (complete with crossed straps in the back and, yes, it ties) without a pattern.

She’s not as sexy as most of my Dikke Dame dolls but I think she’s adorable.

Next up the Queen of Hearts!  (At my present pace, I should have that done in a year or two.)
