So it’s Friday and there’s nothing going on in fat news, so I’m looking through Pinterest to see what I might find in the way of fat art. Instead, I stumbled upon a fat artist – a singer – Cesaria Evora. Her face instantly captivated me. So expressive. I had never heard her sing, but…
Today, I have been told repeatedly on FaceBook is International Dog Day (aka National Dog Day). International Dog Day was founded in 2004 by Pet & Family Lifestyle Expert, Animal Rescue Advocate, Conservationist, Dog Trainer and Author, Colleen Paige, who you might recognize as also having set up other pet holidays, like National Kitten Day, and even…
I have decided that the true name of my HMO is not Kaiser Permanente. It is Fucking Kaiser. The text is in French, but the illustrated stories are easy to follow and…
I have a ton of craft supplies for various crafts that I used to do and keep thinking one day will do again. Who am I kidding? I doubt I have the eyesight or hand coordination to do things like hand bead weaving anymore. I tell myself I keep all those beads because I can…
Okay, maybe not kill but definitely make me uncomfortable. I have had two bizarre pill incidents in one week and I am hoping and praying (to the God I don’t believe in) that this is not one of those things that comes in threes. First. Stuck in Detroit overnight because of my flight problems (read…
Most theater people are “night owls”. We have to be. We are performing in shows that usually finish up around 11 pm or later; after which we have to wipe the makeup off, hang up our costumes, get dressed, pack up our personal items and head home – or head out for some breakfast or…
