Did you know that not all pita bread has pockets?

I was this many days old when I learned this.

I made sure to pick up pita bread during my shopping because I was making chicken salad (delish – by the way – chicken, mayo, seasonings, finely diced apple and finely diced green apple) sandwiches – using pocket pita bread.

Turns out Greek pita is pocketless.

Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit.

By the way, used the pita bread like regular bread and it worked fine; but still not what I WANTED!!!! Live and learn.
