I don’t feel up for writing anything much today. Sorry.
But good news!
Instead, I’m going to share with you a wonderful artist, Anna Saveleva Varella.
She was educated in Moscow, getting a Master of Design and Art Criticism; and now lives in Cyprus.
Her paintings just burst with color and the people portrayed are lusciously round and obviously enjoying life to the utmost.
Looking at her paintings, I can’t help but start to smile.
There is very little about her online, but she is a prolific artist.
Here is the link to my Pinterest Board: Fat Art – Anna Saveleva Varella.

And here are some examples of her painting for you to enjoy:
Thanks for sharing about Anna Saveleva Varella. I don’t know if you’re heard of artist Fernando Botero. He’s the Colombian artist that is known as the painter of the ‘fat ladies.’
–Fernando
I am very familiar with Botero; if you go to my Pinterest account, you will see literally hundreds of various artists that focus on fat bodies in their art – plus under the general boards “Fat Art” and “Fat Figures” you will find even more where I was not able to determine the artist, or the artist only had one example of fat art.
By the way, how do you attach pictures?
I use Microsoft’s snipping tool. I bring up the image, turn on the snipping tool and it lets me select as much or as little of the image I want to use, and then I save it to my pictures file (it’s saved as a .png file). Then WordPress lets you download saved files into the post.
Thanks for the info!
