I already posted to FaceBook today a video clip of one song.
I thought, maybe, I’d try to post the same clip to my WordPress site.
WordPress freaked at the size of the video file, and insisted I needed to upgrade.
Okay, I think, maybe I should.
I am blogging a lot, and it would be nice to have everything in one place.
So I tell WordPress, let’s upgrade.
Then I see the fucking price of going from “Personal” to “Business” – I get a credit for the amount I pay for Personal – and it is still $300 fucking dollars they want – and they’re telling me, after this year, it’ll be close to $400 a year.
Yeah. No.
So, you’ll only be seeing my video clips on FaceBook (and maybe YouTube, if I get ambitious).
Also, the “Business” storage is only 200GB – which is kind of a lot, except for a lot less, I have a 1 TB peripheral drive.
So, WTF WordPress.
You need to review your set up and get a little more realistic.
I can see paying bigger bucks for the eCommerce level; but I’m not selling anything here.
I love y’all, and I like blogging, but I’m not doing this for financial gain; and I’m not putting out that kind of money just to have this little ego-salve.
Yup, don’t blame you!
