I’ve been in Bellevue, Washington.

My husband was attending an ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) conference, and I tagged along.

As usual, the weather in the Seattle area was gorgeous.

All the locals told me that this weather is not usual. Uh-huh. That is what they always say, and yet, every time I have been in the Seattle area the weather has been lovely.

I think they lie to us so we don’t all move up there.

On the other hand, with sea levels on the rise due to global warming, it won’t matter what their weather is like. They just need to know how to tread water.
