I’m getting tired of titles like this; but this is still a wonderful series on Netflix.
A murder mystery set in an elite ballet school.
Tons of teenage angst and rivalry.
A whole lot of sex. Apparently everyone in the dance world is fucking everyone else in the dance world. Where do they find the energy for the dancing?
And the dancing.
Holy fuck.
The dancing.
It looks at the reality of what ballet does to a body and the psyche.
It’s beautiful and it’s brutal.
And the solving-the-murder plot line is good too.
I highly recommend this one.
(I’m still working my way through Pose, and I think – on recommendation from my sister Karon – I’ll start Bridgerton next – also because it has one of my favorite Derry Girls in it – Nicola Coughlan.)
What are y’all up to?
