Growing up in Michigan, I never had a problem with allergies.

When I moved to Los Angeles, I started having a few allergies – the odd plant I would come in contact with now and then.

When I moved to San Jose, the snot demons descended.

And like that wasn’t bad enough, I recently started having issues with another allergy symptom.

ITCHY EYES.

OMG, I just was rubbing and rubbing, and it wasn’t helping a bit.

I just had the weepiest, crustiest, itchiest eyes ever.

I used Benadryl for the snot, and outside of zonking me right out, it works okay; but it doesn’t help the eyes at all.

Well, during my last eye appointment, I mentioned the problem (as an apology to my optometrist having to deal with my icky eyes, and he tells me there is something you can take for it.  In fact, he uses it.

It’s not even prescription!

HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS?

I got some Alaway.

Put a drop in each eye (per the directions).

And

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I don’t know what this stuff does, but the itching was gone.

I no longer felt like I had gravel or a set of false eyelashes loose on my eyeballs.

And the itching stops for up to 6 hours.

So if you too suffer from allergy induced itchy eyes.

All I’m saying is it works for me and my eyeballs are so pleased.
