I have been away from Michigan for a long time (40+ years), but my understanding was that “wintery mix” (or as my husband refers to it, “Michigan Mix”) in a weather forecast meant some rain, some snow – all mixed up.  Basically, sleet.

Well, I don’t know what you call this stuff, but it sure as shit is NOT a wintery (or Michigan) mix.  Pretty sure any sane person would call it a FUCKING SNOW STORM.
