It’s Fall y’all.
And, although the leaves are taking their own sweet time in changing, it does mean HALLOWEEN is just around the corner!
I have put out my Fall/Halloween decorations. What seemed more than adequate in our bitty San Jose home, seem very sparce in our new home – so that means, the day after Halloween somebody is going to hit the sales bins at Michaels!
Meanwhile, we make do.
Here are my two, top of bookcases in the hall to the she-cave:

And my tasteful display on our (new and humungous) ottoman (which I got for the sole purpose of keeping people for bumping their noggins on the extremely dangerous and low-hanging chandelier) in the living room. (And yes, thank you, this is our lovely and comfy new living room furniture.)

And lastly, here is the guardian of the decos in our house – Berta (aka the Burps). Best not be fucking around with any decorations whilst she is on duty!

LOVE your blue-lit pumpkins & am looking with dread at the stern visage of your formidable
watch-cat. I would NOT want to cross paws with her in some dark Halloween night alley.
The tea lights in the pumpkins and the 2 votives turn multi-colors. And yes, you do not want to cross paws with the Burps!
