No not me.
Well, I guess it could be me, but in this particular instance it’s not.
It’s what we had for dinner the other day.
BEEF WITH CABBAGE AND CARROTS
1# ground beef
4 C shredded cabbage
1 1/2 C shredded carrot
1 env Lipton onion soup mix
2 T water
salt & pepper to taste
Brown ground beef in large skillet; drain. Reduce heat to low. Stir in cabbage, carrots and onion soup mix and water. Cover and cook 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Add extra water (1 T at a time) for extra moistness if desired. Salt and pepper to taste
I don’t shred my own cabbage – I just get a 16 oz bag of cole slaw mix. And I don’t shred my own carrots – I just get a bag of shredded carrots. I am all about the easy.
Brown the beef, throw the rest into the pan, cover and simmer. Doesn’t really need any extra seasoning because of the soup mix, but knock yourself out if you like things more salty or peppery.

This sounds really good plus it’s easy to make which is always a plus for me. 😁
When it comes to cooking, unless it’s a specific project that I want to try, I am all about easy! All possible shortcuts will be taken!
