Here’s the thing.
When a fat person has a boo-boo part, it is hard to keep the pain at bay.
This is because when you are fat all over, and you move – everything moves.
It’s like tossing a stone into a pond – the movement “ripples” out to the parts you had no intention of moving.
(It’s the same thing that can make fat people moving so beautiful and fascinating.)
This is why when I am in pain, I usually turn down any help. I know when and where it hurts. I know when I need to stop moving to stop more hurting.
So thank you for your good intentions and helpfulness. I am not turning down your help out of a misplaced sense of pride.
I am trying to control unintended consequences.
