I usually do my weekly grocery shopping in the morning; used to be Wednesday morning, now it’s Friday mornings.
Except, I had last Friday off from work and I did my shopping Friday afternoon.
I thought I’d have the store to myself.

You never saw so many old farts in your life (so of course, I fit right in).
Except, these old farts are getting to the point where instead of walking – they shuffle along. Slowly. Soooooooooooo slowly. (God (TIDBI) bless ’em.)
It was like shopping in a grocery store full of Tim Conways.
(If you are too young to get the reference, just Google “Tim Conway – old man shuffle”; or better yet, go to YouTube and search for Tim Conway old man – and you’re welcome.)
I felt so young and chipper! And when I am shuffling along at some point, I hope people remember Tim Conway’s old man and have a nice chuckle too.

Wow — the butcher shop sketch! Just saw this episode of CBS on METV the other night – still makes me
fall off the chair laughing.
Back then, I worked at mastering the Conway shuffle…now, it’s called “Doin’ What Comes Naturally”.
For anyone who wants to see true comic genius, check out the METV schedule for those Carol Burnett Show
airings — you’ll be so very happy that you did. Just watching the show’s other regulars try not to break up in
the face of Conway’s characters is worth watching.
