THIS FAT OLD LADY’S FAT FRIDAY – BLAKEINOBI

Sorry this is late; Friday just got away from me.

Anyhow, I was scrolling through my Fat Art, Fat Figures, fat stuff boards on Pinterest and I decided to look at the one I have for Blakeinobi; and I decided he would be a great subject for a post.

Blakeinobi’s actual name is Blake Eason; and he is from (and still is living in) Kalamazoo, Michigan!

See, I knew there was a reason why I like his art.

I have often said the people of Michigan are my people – and they are, at least to the extent a lot of them are fatties.  A lot of them are fatties who could give a fuck about what you think about fat people.  Those are my people.

And much of Blakeinobi’s art reflects that in-your-face joy in fat bodies.  Mostly women, but some men.

I also really like the fact that he often uses fat bodies in the depiction of fantasy creatures – like fairies and mermaids, and superheroes!

He is a self-taught artist, mostly working with digital art, but also with a lot of different media – such as acrylics, watercolor, pencil and paper.

He is on FaceBook – so feel free to stop by and let him know how much you like his art and, if you are so inclined, like his page. On FaceBook he has a video of himself doing digital art and WOW, just WOW.

Also, he has his own website – https://www.blakeinobi.com/

And on his website he has coloring pages! That’s right, you can print out his art and color it! This guy is too much fun and too nice, sharing his art like this!

His own description of himself is

I’m an impartial individual who likes pandas, drinking a tasty beverage, movies and many other things under the yellow sun.

I hope you enjoy these samples of his art, and if you want to see more, go to https://www.pinterest.com/terriweitze/fat-art-blakeinobi/
