How can a program that needs updating as much as Adobe Flash continue to perform so badly?

I am sooooooo tired of my FaceBook games doing a lock and crash because of Flash Shockwave.

And if this program is soooooo bad (as it clearly is) why do so many game programs rely on it? Find another fucking program.

Okay, I’m begging. I am down on my fat old lady knees asking that either Adobe clean up Flash Shockwave (for once and for all – I mean, what kind of program needs to be updated constantly? – okay, a really bad one) OR game programs start using something that works better.

Okay, now somebody help me get the fuck up, I need to reload my game.
