For the most part San Jose has a lovely mild climate. But then there are those summer days where the temps start climbing into the 90s and up.
Some parts of the San Jose area get some relief from breezes off the Bay. Unfortunately, we have hills between us and the Bay, so our area tends to be about 5 degrees hotter than the downtown area.
Of course, if we moved closer to the Bay it might be nicer, but then with global warming and rising ocean levels, we also might end up treading water. As it is, we are pretty much guaranteed to remain on dry land, which will be very nice for us when some of the already over-stretched housing in the San Jose area is underwater.
In the meantime, it’s hot. I’m hot. Fuck.
