My new Kindle Fire just arrived (like less than an hour ago).
I have unboxed it.
I am looking forward to the adventure of figuring out what all I can do with my new tech-baby. So excited.
And a little fearful.
This is when it is definitely not a plus that all of my younger tech-savvy nieces and nephews live far far away. Luckily, I have a fairly tech-savvy husband.
I don’t anticipate having trouble (I’m pretty good with tech too), but you never know.
One of the main reasons I wanted a tablet was to be able to use it for doing artwork. I have a Wacom Bamboo but drawing on a pad with the image showing up on the monitor is just not the same.
And let me tell you, the Kindle Fire HD is a steal right now. $119 for 8gb (and not much more for 16gb). The price skyrockets when you get to HDX but you also get a whole lot more memory. So it just depends on what you want to use it for.
I still plan on using my Kindle for reading (for now), and my Kindle Fire for other stuff.
So excuse me, I have some setting up to do and some apps to peruse.
