Berta sometimes likes to be held so that she is laying on her back so you can rub her belly while you hold her.  She has an amazingly soft plush belly and it is a joy to rub it and receive the resultant purrs aplenty.

I know in this photo she looks thoroughly pissed, but that is just a function of her resting bitch face; she is actually purring her fool head off.

You’ll just have to take my word for it.

Also, if she didn’t like being held like this, there would be a lot more blood in the photo.
