For almost as long as COVID-19 has been around, there has been this thing going around FB, asking if you know anyone personally who has COVID or who has died from COVID.

WTF is that all about?  

What is it supposed to accomplish?

Are people trying to establish their own head count?  Trust me, John Hopkins provides much more complete and accurate data.  https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/data

Are they trying to see if COVID is zeroing in on them through their FB friends?  Trust me, COVID and FB don’t work that way. 

Are they trying to infer that COVID is not real, and unless you personally know someone who has it, had it or died from it, you shouldn’t believe it’s real either? 

If that is the aim, fuck you.
