And you know what that means, right?
It means that the weather is getting cooler and cats want to snuggle!
No wonder I love the Fall!
Our brown tabby, Leo, likes to get on the back of my chair and then climb over my shoulder so I can hold him.
His usual trick is to wait until he hears me typing.
That way he can maximize his in-the-wayness, as cats love to do.
Usually, he’s good for bugging me for 5-10 minutes or so.
But come snuggle weather –he’s down for the count.
He’ll snuggle in and go for a nice nap.
And if I’m wearing a cardigan?
Forget it.
He wants to get under the sweater where he can cocoon himself and sleep as long as I let him.
Not only is this very soothing to my world-weary soul, but he gets wrapped up in a way that I don’t even really have to hold him. He becomes self-supporting, so I can do what I want on the computer, while he takes his snooze.
Did I mention, he snores?
Ahhhhh.
