I’m starting to understand the appeal.

I knew that when I take Prednisone I get a huge burst of energy for as long as I’m taking it.

What I didn’t realize is that I get sort of the same reaction from Cortisone shots.

Since getting my fat old lady knee shot full of Cortisone, I am having trouble sleeping.  Last night I got very little sleep, and today, although I tried, I was not able to take a nap.

This is madness.  I am the queen of sleep.  I LOVE sleeping above all else.

Now, I’m interested on how long this will last.

Hopefully not too long because it is hard enough to get through life being old-age addled.  I really don’t want to add sleep deprived addled on top of that.

This could get ugly or really hilarious or both.

Update – the answer is it lasts about 24-48 hours and the crash is HORRIBLE.

So much for my dreams of a steroid fueled house cleaning frenzy. (Hey, a girl’s gotta dream.)
