Went to visit my sister at the nursing home today.

They have a fairly advanced system for tagging visitors. You stand in front of a machine that takes your temperature, your photo, asks who you are visiting (unless you’ve been there before, in which case, it uses facial recognition to match you to the patient you are visiting (fancy!)) and then runs you through the standard Covid questions. When you are done, you get your visitor tag with your photo.

I’ve never been the most photogenic person to begin with, but c’mon.

You must admit, this makes it look like security cam footage, showing the head of the Granny Mafia coming to pay a call!
