Today, I sent out the e-mails and retired.
Yup. After 40+ years of working for (and with) attorneys, I am finally and officially off the clock – forever.
Whew.
It was time.
So, now I am a fat old lady of leisure!
Can’t wait to get my leisure on.

Welcome to the next chapter of Old Broad World, a place where you can do pretty much
whatever you please. It takes some getting used to, but you’ll figure it out — just think of the
time you can spend on crafting, baking, whatever – oh, and you can do it without ever going
anywhre near an office! You don’t even have to do the cute blouse & make -up for a Zoom
meeting if you don’t want to, and you can donate the alarm clock to a museum.

I am excited. My usual thing would be to fill up my calendar with lots of things, but I’m trying to resist for awhile. Just want to take things slow (like I have any other speed these days) and figure it out as I go. Already baked us a gingerbread cake (box mix – Betty Crocker has a great mix).
