Just for the record, this fat old lady does not love hot weather. I hate it. With cold weather, you can always put something on; however, you can only take so much off.

But I find the valves on my French Horn work much better with the hot weather. Go figure. I guess it makes some sense, the hot weather keeps that valve oil nice and slick.

So yippee for my horn.

Given the choice though, I would much prefer that I be happy instead of my horn.

So could we please get back to some cooler weather – PLEASE?
