Some time ago, I posted about fun with trying to restore Barbie doll hair (including the long haired blond I affectionately referred to as “Rasta Barbie”). I explained that I was restoring some Barbies I had bought at bargain prices on eBay to model two dresses I had crocheted in my misspent youth – or maybe my misspent middle age (since I’m not dead yet, it’s hard to estimate what point of my life is the middle).
I promised to show you all the crocheted dresses being modeled; and here they are.

Don’t know which cheered me up more: the insane dog or the pretty Barbies – LOVE the
baby blue ballgown! You’re really something with the crochet hook (a skill I never mastered –
I knit & do needlepoint but never got the hang of crochet)..
The Easter Doggie makes me think of that great Cadbury’s commercial with all the animals
auditioning to be the Easter Bunny – I look forward ot that one every spring!
I hadn’t thought of the Cadbury ads – but you are so right. That’s what our doggo is doing. I can knit if I work at it, but I find it so much more difficult than crocheting. I’ve done a teensy bit of needlepoint, but mostly went with needlepoint’s cheaper sister – counted cross stitch!
